This site counts visits with a small script of my own that runs on this domain. It notes which pages you read, for how long, what you click and where you came from, and it keeps a random id in your browser so a second visit is not counted as a new person. It also looks up which network and roughly which city a visit comes from, then throws the address away, so I never store IP addresses. Nothing it collects is sold or shared, and there are no ads or cookies. If your browser sends Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control, the script does not run at all.
The chat on the home page saves conversations so I can read them and reply. Please do not put anything in it you would not send me in an email.
Deleting a chat from History removes it from this browser. If you want something you sent deleted from my records too, email me at daviddn@usc.edu and I will remove it.
