Sightpane

The client portal for teams that build for clients and stakeholders, agencies first.

I've built websites for clients for five years with Wedge Studio, starting in high school. The design was rarely what went wrong. The process was. The two week wait for a small edit, the update nobody sent, feedback lost across email, texts and Slack, the login that left with the last freelancer. The client is always asking where we are, and the studio is always answering by hand.

So I built the software first, for my own studio. In October 2026 it became its own product, Sightpane, so any agency can run on it.

Status nobody types

It started as the Wedge app, and before that Docket. Docket taught me that typed status goes stale in a day, so in Sightpane nobody types it. Status is worked out from the records.

One button for the client

Clients aren't project managers, so their side stays simple. Home answers one question, how is my project going, with what needs them, the stage, the next update and the launch date. Then one big Request a change button.

What a client sees

They can paste a screenshot, record their screen or put three asks in one message. The AI splits it into separate requests, catches duplicates and asks at most two questions.

One message becomes three requests

Every change gets its own page with what they asked, what we did, a before and after and a live link. They answer Looks good or Still not right.

A change, ready for the client to check

The studio side

For the studio, every project sits on one screen. The plan works like a sheet, with phases, a timeline and a baseline the client approves before work starts, and change orders turn into draft invoices. Pages swap instantly, and anything in the sidebar can be dragged into the page to work side by side.

AI with a person in the loop

The assistant can draft a reply, file requests or fill a plan from notes, but it acts only after a person confirms. A client should never get a message nobody read. Sightpane also speaks MCP, so Claude and other agents can file and update work in it.

Where it is now

Sightpane is live, and every Wedge Studio project comes with it, so our clients use it today. It's built for other agencies too, each with its own branded sign in, and opening it to them is next.

The public demo at demo.sightpane.com has a client view and a studio view. Every feature ships with its own sample data, and every release runs a 76 screen headless sweep before it goes out.
